"ABC of Safety"

Famous artists recorded Ksenia Fedorova's verses - a new audiobook for children "ABC of Safety" released in the Moscow music publishing house "Artservice".

- A wonderful disk for children, a rarity for today was released - "ABC of Safety" by Ksenia Fedorova! This is a premiere of the series "Russian Composers and Writers for Children", publisher Svetlana Konyukhova says. - This is not a song, not a fairy tale, not a musical, but a real book for children in verses and with original music.

The basis of the audiobook are the poems from Ksenia's printed book "ABC of Safety" (2012), as well as new works by the author. Ksenia Fedorova created her new work, dedicated to children in an excellent creative community. The project united People's Artist of Russia, leading actress of the Maly Theater, winner of the government award of the Russian Federation Olga Pashkova, actor of the theater "Commonwealth of Taganka Actors", teacher of acting Roman Serkov, actor and countertenor Oleg Bezinskikh, who voiced famous Mickey Mouse by Walt Disney, performed the role of the Prince in the Russian version of the cartoon "Snow White and Seven Dwarfs "and a lullaby in the cartoon"King Lion-3".

- Working with an audiobook for children, as well as working in plays for children and teaching children for me personally is a very important, necessary and responsible occupation, Roman Serkov shared. - And, despite such a burden of responsibility, these classes are one of the most favourite in life, because work for children brings us back to our childhood!

 Music for the audiobook was written by a member of the Union of Composers of Russia, the author of children's operas and cantatas, candidate of arts Vera Zaitseva.

- I was very glad to take part in this project! Musical images began to emerge after the first reading of the wonderful poems of Ksenia. It was interesting to look for their musical embodiment, to fulfill the pictures that arise in the process of reading by my music, the composer shared. - And the most valuable thing for me in this project was that it is designed for audience, which is not capable of pretense and insincerity: because if a child does not like, he or she will not listen o at all! Therefore, working with music was even more exciting to make it understandable and interesting for young listeners.

Note that stars of Russian and world culture Yuri Bashmet, Alexander Knyazev, Mstislav Rostropovich, Iraida Yusupova, Alexei Balashov, Valery Kikta released under the label of "Artservice" at different times.
